88.3 WPPB - FM is the only Long Island-based affiliate of National Public Radio, offering programming such as Morning Edition, Car Talk, Marketplace, the Tavis Smiley Show and Prairie Home Companion. WPPB also offers BBC World News, PBS News Hour, The Metropolitan Opera, and the New York Philharmonic.
